Comes in two configurations - the first mounts like a Hard Drive

The CF-SSD is a solid-state Compact Flash card drive that is fully read/write capable, has no moving parts and makes no noise at all during operation. It comes loaded with a Compact Flash card, the capacity of your choosing, and mounts inside your sampler just like a hard drive would. In fact, this unit is the perfect replacement for those old, noisy, worn-out hard drives, thanks to its lightweight size and the fact that it only needs 5 volts for power. Because of its low power draw and the fact that it produces no heat, it can be mounted inside many samplers that cannot normally support a SCSI hard drive.

The CF-SSD is compatible with a wide range of samplers - see the Compatibility List below. We have developed installation kits for most sampler models (see them here) and if you don't see a kit on the list for your sampler, contact us and we can discuss the options for your sampler. Chances are good that the CF-SSD unit will work great in it!

The second configuration is more modular, making it easier to install inside keyboards or racks where space is limited. It mounts using double-sided tape.

These SSD units may also be used to replace hard drives in lots of other applications such as older computer systems and industrial applications. Contact us for more information about how the CF-SSD could possible be used for your needs.

SSD Configuration: we will normally send the configuration that we feel is best suited for installation into your sampler. However, we can send whichever you prefer. Contact us if you have a special requirement and we will discuss it to make sure you get the best SSD unit for your needs.

Different samplers listed here will support different Compact Flash card capacities - contact us if you are not sure of the maximum SCSI media capacity that your sampler will support. Not all of the samplers listed above can fit the CF-SSD inside of them. They are listed because they are compatible, in case you want to install one inside of your own SCSI case or rack unit, and connect it to the sampler externally. Contact us for to find out if the CF-SSD can be mounted inside of your sampler.
