Looking for a storage solution that provides a lot of capacity with total reliability? How about
we throw in completely silent operation as a bonus? Those characteristics perfectly
describe our External Dual SSD Storage Unit. This external case comes loaded with two
solid-state drives, each with your selection of storage capacity and each on its own SCSI ID number.
This allows each drive to be addressed separately and each can be used by a different sampler
or both by the same sampler for double the usual storage capacity. For

Imagine having 16GB of fast, quiet storage space for your Kurzweil K2500/K2600, 8GB for your Korg
Triton or 32GB for your Akai MPC2000 Classic, MPC2000XL or S5000/S6000. This unit can give you
all that storage at a very reasonable price.
Features include two SCSI-1 Centronics 50-pin connectors so that you may connect this unit to two
different samplers or daisy-chain it to other SCSI devices. The unit has a small cooling fan but since
this fan is not needed for the Dual SSD, it has been disabled. It can easily be enabled should
you ever desire to do so. The drive is shipped with internal termination disabled for maximum
hookup flexibilty and a terminator plug is included.
Different Capacity SSD Units Available
In these standard configurations, each SSD in the dual SSD unit has the same capacity. But if you
want, each SSD can be a different capacity. This would be important in the event that you wanted
to use each of the two SSD units with a different sampler. For example, let's say you have a Korg
Triton and an MPC3000 - you could request a dual SSD unit with one 4GB SSD for the Triton and
a 1GB SSD for the MPC3000. We can build you whatever combination of SSD capacities you need,
from 512MB to 16GB. Contact us with your requirements and we will be happy to get you a quote
